Best AI Interview Copilots 2026: 7 Tools Compared

Exact prices and free-plan limits, taken from each vendor’s public pages on . Aissence makes one of the seven tools, so we show where each competitor is the better fit and where Aissence falls short.

How we compared them

We read each vendor’s public pricing page on October 5, 2026 and recorded prices and limits exactly as listed. We did not run timed, hands-on tests of the competitors, so this page compares what vendors publish, not how fast or accurate each product is in use. Where a page did not show a price, the table says so instead of guessing. We compared on:

  • Exact listed price, and whether the billing period is shown
  • What the free plan really includes (live sessions, not just practice)
  • Whether the product covers the interview loop or only live help
  • Platforms: desktop app or other form factor
  • What the vendor says about rules and hidden use, and where we link to employer policy

We have not ranked the tools 1 to 7. The right choice depends on how many interviews you have, whether you need a free trial, and what the employer allows, so each tool gets a “best for” label instead. Prices change often; confirm on the vendor’s site before you buy.

Aissence: best for the full loop: mock interviews, live copilot, resume and application tools

Aissence is our product, so read this section knowing that. It combines scored mock interviews, a desktop live copilot for Windows and macOS, resume tailoring with an ATS score, and a browser extension that fills job applications.

Strengths

  • A free plan that includes a live copilot session every week, so you can test the live workflow before paying.
  • Mock interviews built from your resume, with a score on every answer.
  • Flat plans: $29 a month, $49 for three months, $149 for twelve months, with no credit meter.
  • Bring-your-own-key model choice and 42 supported languages.

Limits

  • The live copilot runs in the desktop app for Windows and macOS, so there is an install step.
  • The free plan allows one live session a week; heavy interview weeks need a paid plan.
  • $29 a month is higher than Cluely’s $19.99 Pro and above the “from $25+” headline on Final Round AI’s page.
  • It suggests answer outlines, not scripts. Whether you may use any copilot in a given interview is up to that employer’s rules.

Final Round AI: best for one paid plan that bundles live copilot, practice interviews and debriefs

Final Round AI’s Pro plan lists live CoPilot, Stealth Mode, automatic debriefs, practice interviews and screen help together.

Strengths

  • The lowest listed headline price among the interview-specific copilots here: from $25+ a month.
  • Live copilot, practice interviews and post-interview debriefs sit in one plan.
  • Longer billing periods list savings of up to 40%.

Limits

  • Its pricing page states there is no free trial and live sessions need an active Pro subscription, so you cannot try a live session first.
  • The “$25+” figure does not show a billing period. Third-party reviews have reported higher monthly prices, so check the total at checkout.

Parakeet AI: best for occasional interviews (credits) or very heavy interview weeks (Unlimited)

Parakeet AI offers the widest range of ways to pay: an Unlimited plan, a weekly plan and credit packs, where 0.5 credit covers a 30-minute call or mock.

Strengths

  • Credit packs let you pay per session. At $38 for a single credit, a 30-minute session costs $19; the larger packs lower that.
  • A yearly plan at $49.99 a month, if you expect a long search.
  • Unlimited plans include mock interviews, plus resume and headshot tools.

Limits

  • The monthly Unlimited plan is $149.90, about five times Aissence’s $29 monthly plan.
  • The free option is short: one 10-minute session and one mock interview.

  • Usage limits on the free version were not stated on the pages we read.

Which one fits your situation

  • You want to try a live session before paying: start with the free plans at Aissence, Verve AI or Parakeet AI. Final Round AI does not offer a free live session.
  • You have one or two interviews coming up: credit-based options (Parakeet AI, LockedIn AI) can cost less than a monthly plan.
  • You are in a long search with many rounds: a flat plan such as Aissence’s 12-month plan at about $12 a month, or Parakeet AI’s yearly plan, spreads the cost.
  • You mostly face coding rounds: a specialist such as Interview Coder is built for that, though its price is the highest here.
  • You also want help with calls and meetings: Cluely’s Pro plan is the cheapest and is not limited to interviews.

Questions people ask

What is an AI interview copilot?

An AI interview copilot is software that listens to an interviewer’s question and suggests an answer outline in real time, usually using your resume and the job description. Some also offer scored mock interviews so you can practice first.

What is the cheapest AI interview copilot?

Cluely has the lowest paid price listed here, Pro at $19.99 a month, but it is a general meeting assistant. Among interview-specific tools, Final Round AI lists Pro from $25+ a month with no billing period shown, and Aissence is $29 a month, or about $12 a month on the 12-month plan. Prices checked October 5, 2026.

Is there a free AI interview copilot?

Yes, several have free options. Aissence’s free plan includes a mock interview every day and a live copilot session every week, with no card. Verve AI lists three 15-minute copilot sessions, and Parakeet AI a 10-minute session and one mock. Final Round AI’s free plan does not include live copilot sessions.

Is there a free alternative to Parakeet AI?

Aissence and Verve AI both have free plans with live copilot sessions. Parakeet AI lists Unlimited at $149.90 a month or $49.99 a month billed yearly, and credits from $38 each, so a free plan is a real difference on cost.

Is Final Round AI worth it?

It depends on how many live sessions you need. Live sessions require Pro, listed from $25+ a month, and its pricing page says there is no free trial. Try a free plan elsewhere first, and confirm the billing period and total at checkout.

Is it cheating to use an AI interview copilot?

It depends on the employer. Preparing with AI is accepted widely, but rules for using it during an interview differ and are unclear at many companies. Check the employer’s policy or ask the recruiter before you use any tool live.
