What the preview produces
This is the real preview, run on a fictional resume (a data analyst named Priya). Notice what each question quotes: her current employer, a number from her resume, and the tools she lists most.
That is the point of starting from a resume. An interviewer will ask about the project you wrote down and the figure you quoted, so the practice should too. The first question is always a version of “tell me about yourself,” because every interview opens there.
How a session works
- Upload your resume and, if you have one, paste the job description. Both shape the questions.
- Answer out loud. Keep each answer under about two minutes. Speaking exposes problems typing hides.
- Get follow-ups. The interviewer pushes on what you said, the way a person would.
- Read the score and fixes. Each answer is rated, with the specific thing to change.
- Repeat the weakest answer. That second attempt is where practice turns into improvement.

How is the interview built from my resume?
The preview reads your resume and writes five questions from it: an opener tied to your career path, a deep dive on your most recent role, a follow-up on a number you quote, a technical question on the skills your resume leans on, and a behavioral question that fits the role. The practice session then asks those exact questions.
Do I have to speak, or can I type?
Speaking is better because it shows rambling, filler words and missing structure that typing hides. If you cannot speak where you are, you can practice in text.
What does the feedback look like?
Each answer gets a score and specific fixes, for example that you described what the team did but not your own action. Repeat your weakest answer and see whether the score moves.
Can I use it for a specific role or a job description?

Is practicing with an AI interviewer allowed?
Practice before an interview is normal preparation and breaks no employer rule. Using AI during a live interview is different and depends on the employer, so check the rules first. Our responsible-use page and the guide to AI in interviews explain where the lines are.
What are the limits?
An AI interviewer cannot read your face, simulate a bored or hostile interviewer, or know one team's unwritten culture. It also cannot tell whether your story is true. Use it to improve structure and specifics, and do at least one practice session with a real person before a high-stakes interview.
