Compare by how long you will actually interview

The right plan depends on how long your search runs, not the headline monthly price.

• One or two interviews coming up: use free tiers. A few free minutes is enough to test your setup and hear one or two answers scored.
• A focused search of one to three months: a monthly or three-month plan. Multi-month plans are usually cheaper per month, but cancel when you accept an offer.
• A long or repeated search: annual plans can be cheapest per month, but only if you will really use them for a year. Many people do not.

Pricing traps to look for

1. The "free trial" that needs a card. If it auto-renews at a higher price, set a reminder.
2. The cheap annual price. It looks like $25 a month until you notice it is billed up front for a year.
3. Usage caps behind "unlimited". Read the limits for live sessions and for how long each session can run.
4. Practice free, feedback paid. Check whether the scoring and notes are included in the free tier.
5. Bring your own key. Some tools let you plug in your own AI provider key and pay the provider directly. This can be cheaper if you are a light user and more expensive if you are not.

Is it worth paying at all?

Pay only after the free version has shown you something specific you need: more live session time, unlimited mock interviews, or a model you prefer.
