STAR method
The STAR method is a way to structure a behavioral answer in four parts: Situation, Task, Action, Result. It keeps the answer focused on what happened and what you did.
Spend little time on situation and task, most of it on your actions, and finish with a result you can name, ideally with a number. If your answer runs past two minutes, it usually contains a second story.
