Aissence Gmail Integration
Finds likely job-application messages in a connected Gmail account, classifies lifecycle updates, and presents them in the tracking workflow.
How Gmail tracking works
1. Connect
Authorize Gmail from your Aissence account. Aissence requests read-only access to your Gmail.
2. Find and classify
Aissence searches for likely job-related messages and classifies confirmations, interview updates, offers, and rejections.
3. Review
The tracking workflow displays classified messages so you can review application activity.
What Gmail access means
Aissence requests the gmail.readonly scope. That access is used only to find messages that look job-related — such as application confirmations, recruiter replies, interview invitations, and status changes. Aissence does not move, delete, or alter messages in your inbox.
What we store
For classified messages, Aissence keeps the subject, sender, date, and a short snippet so the tracker can show you what happened. Full message bodies are used to classify a message and are not kept as application records.
Privacy and user control
Connection credentials are encrypted by the service. You can disconnect Gmail from your account at any time; disconnecting stops further syncing and removes the connection. Detailed data practices are governed by the Privacy Policy.
